U11 Select Program

Kelowna Minor Fastball is excited to once again run a U11 Select program for the 2026 Spring

This program gives U11 players an opportunity to participate in an additional competitive level development program, complementary to what is offered at the U11C level. Selected players will play on the U11 Select team in addition to playing on their U11C (community) team.  

Players will have 1 practice or game per week every Monday starting in April, and indoor training leading up to the season.

Players must be able to commit to the tournament dates to play on the Select team. There will be 2 additional tournaments during the 2026 season:

• U11 Rep Tournament in Kelowna on the May Long weekend
• If the team qualifies, Provincials in the Lower Mainland in late June

Cost: $200 fee for selected players which includes:

• Jersey to keep
• 6 pre-season indoor sessions
• Tournament registration
• Umpires and fields for local games
• Fields for weekly practices

*Travel costs to the out-of-town tournaments (hotel, gas, food) are additional

Tryout dates and registration info

Player evaluation and selection for players born in 2015/2016 will be held at:

• Sunday, February 1^st at BGC Okanagan (355 Hartman Rd, Kelowna)
• 9:00-9:30am: Pitchers and Catchers
• 9:30-11:00pm: All players
• Registration is required and there is no cost to attend.
